What customers say?

“ This restaurant saved us yesterday. We planned to go 805 but it was closed. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. It looks MUCH better inside than it does on the outside. Prices are very reasonable compared to 805 and the food! The Suya was so good! Amala was good Pounded yam, you can’t go wrong there and the meats! Ahh god! This place does well! I would recommend instead of 805, much better value for money! It was a little cold in there and cold outside so I was a little uncomfortable at first ”

“ Was out having dinner with old school mates. Clean, moderate standard of aesthetics, courteous customer service. Had a good time reuniting after 36 years. After 11pm, the DJ played popular Africa music that had several dancing. Didn't find the food authentic enough. ”

“ Fantastic Nigerian restaurant on the Old Kent Road! The food is just divine and the assorted meat pepper soup is to die for!! Got to give a mention to our waitress, (sorry, didn't get her name), her service was impeccable, such a competent and good natured young lady! Keep up the good work ”

“ Nice little joint to hang out with friends. unfortunately, my friend and I ordered our food, at the same time so I am confused as to how mine arrived 30 minutes after hers, only to arrive cold! The meat was undercooked, resulting in it almost flying halfway across the table, but the pounded yam was light and fluffy. Overall, it's a nice chill zone. Good DJ and music selection. Love that people just get up from the dinner table and have a good boogie, which I can honestly say made up for the error in the timing of dinner. Would go again... ”

“ I had a birthday meal here with my husbandandchildren. We were welcomed like family into this very stylish restaurant. We were served promptly and the food was amazing; jollof rice, oha soup and croaker with plantain. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. We have come several times already, and Wazobia is becoming a favourite for a special occasion. ”
